What is a Story?
In We Are, our immersive content pieces are called "Stories." There are two types of Stories: linear and interactive.
A linear Story are designed for content that results in a video file format. Typically used for explainer videos, linear Stories do not include interactivity. They can be shared anywhere videos are displayed, such as any LMS, intranet, website, or social media platform.
An interactive Story enables learners to be an active participant in a scenario. The learner’s choices will affect the outcome of an interactive Story and you can even set up gamification and scoring! Interactive Stories can be shared via a URL or be integrated into any Learning Management System (LMS) via xAPIs.
Creating your first Story
Creating a Story with We Are is easy. Here’s how:
Write your script: Start from scratch, let AI do all the hard work, or upload a PowerPoint presentation in PDF format for instant conversion into a Story.
Choose your Character and location: Select an avatar and choose or upload a background as the setting for your Story.
Node Map/ Script Editor
Whether you start from scratch or with some help, you'll end up on the Node Map.
The Node Map/ Script Editor is a visual map to edit your script and manage all Story elements. From here, you can fine-tune your Story, for instance: edit text, add one or several Characters with animations and gestures, decide where they should be located, and adjust settings.

Animate your Story with ease:
AI-generated voice or your voice: Choose between AI-generated voices or record your own.
Character animation: Adjust body posture, gestures, and facial expressions.
Add more Characters: Create a new Event to include multiple characters to enrich the narrative.
Create branched scenarios: Easily create interactive, scenario-based training that adapts to learners' choices.
