Creating your first We Are Story is super easy. Start by selecting the New Story button in the upper right corner of your We Are dashboard.

From there, you have three options to choose from.

1. Start from scratch

Got a script ready or a clear vision of how your Story should unfold? The "Start from Scratch" option is your playground. By selecting this, you'll be taken to an empty nodemap where you have complete control to manually add and arrange nodes according to your vision.

Here’s what you get:

  • Full creative control: Build your Story exactly how you envision it.

  • Flexibility: Add, remove, and tweak every element to perfection.

This option is perfect for creators who want to manage every detail of their production.

2. Create with AI

Need a little help bringing your Story to life? Meet Aico, our AI assistant. With the "Create with Aico" option, you can generate a Story in minutes. Simply provide a few details:

  • What’s the Story about?

  • Where’s the scene set?

  • Who are the characters?

Aico will take care of the rest, generating a Story complete with suggested animations, gestures, and more. And don't worry — you'll still have the freedom to fine-tune the script, animation, and voice after Aico has worked its magic.

3. Turn Your Slides into a Story

Have a presentation you want to transform? The "Turn Your Slides into a Story" option lets you convert your Google Slides, Keynote, or PowerPoint presentation into an immersive Story within minutes. Here’s how:

  • Step 1: Download your slides as a PDF.

  • Step 2: Upload the PDF to We Are

  • Step 3: Choose your location and characters, and you're set!

Our system will automatically turn your bullet points into speaking notes. Plus, you can choose to include images from the PDF and even translate content if your original slides are in another language.

Once your Story is created, you’ll have full flexibility to edit it to make it just right.
