We Are extras explained

Every We Are plan includes a standard number of creators, languages, Characters, and published Stories. You can check the specific limits for your plan on our pricing page.

Need more flexibility? Whether you’re looking to remove watermarks or a couple of extras, it’s easy to tailor your plan to fit your needs.

Available extras

(Not available on the Single Creator plan)

  • Additional Characters

  • Additional published Stories

$50/month or $600/year

A Story is considered “published” if it’s shared via URL, embedded, or exported as SCORM.

Every plan includes a set number of published Stories, meaning that’s how many can be live at once. But don’t worry - you can toggle Stories on or off anytime to stay within your limit. Or add more at any time.

How to use an extra - and example

When you purchase an extra, you're unlocking a dedicated slot for that specific type (e.g., creator, language, Character, or published Story). This slot can hold any item of that type, which you can add, remove, or swap based on your needs.

Example:

If you buy a language slot, you might start with Spanish. Later, if you no longer need Spanish as a language in your Stories and the language is not in use, you can remove it and replace it with another language.

🔔 Note: A language can only be removed if it’s not currently used in any story and not selected in your extra settings.

How to access extras in We Are

  1. Log in to your account

  2. Go to Settings

  3. Click Manage Extras

From there, you can adjust the quantity of each extra using the plus and minus buttons before proceeding to checkout.

🔔 Note: you can only add extras once you have a monthly or yearly paid subscription.

Billing of extras

When you add an extra, billing is prorated based on the remaining days in your current billing cycle and charged immediately. Starting from your next cycle (monthly or yearly), you’ll be billed the full amount for your extras.
