Integrate with Intermezzon Palms

Introduction

Integrating We Are Learning with Palms allows you to seamlessly incorporate engaging stories into your learning content. In this step-by-step guide, we will walk you through the process of setting up this integration for a more interactive learning experience.

Step 1: Obtain API Key from Palms

  1. In Palms: Go to "Systeminnstillinger --> Integrasjoner"

  2. Choose "Legg til" --> "WeAre"

  3. Copy "API-nøkkel" and "xAPI Statement endpoint"

Step 2: Add the API Key and endpoint to We Are Learning

  1. Log in to your We Are Learning account.

  2. Navigate to the Settings section of your account.

  3. Click on "New Integration."

    1. You need to be an Admin of the account to add integrations.

  4. Select "Custom xAPI" as your integration type.

  5. Paste the API key and endpoint copied from Palms into the designated fields below.

  6. Don't forget to enable the integration.
    ​

Step 3: Publish Your Simulation

  1. Create or access the simulation you want to use in a Moti.

  2. Click on the "Publish" button.

  3. Choose "Share via Integration" and select "Motimate" as the integration option.

  4. Copy the generated URL, which should look like this: "https://play.wearelearning.io/***."
    ​

Step 4: Create an "Annet" event in Palms

  1. Open Palms and create a new block.

  2. Choose the "Innstilling" --> "Integrasjon" block type to add interactivity to your course.
