Adding gestures to your timeline is a great way to animate your Character with specific movements. Each gesture represents a single action, and you can add multiple gestures in the timeline to bring your Story to life. Simply drag each gesture to the right spot on the timeline to align perfectly with your script.
Here is how you add a gesture
The purple line in the timeline represents gestures.
Click the plus icon to explore our extensive library of gestures. Click "apply" to add the gesture to your timeline.
Once it’s there, you can:
Adjust facial expressions
Change where the Character is looking
Drag the gesture to its correct place in the timeline
Make the gesture last longer or shorter by adjusting the handles on both sides of the gesture bar
☝🏻 Note: Gestures will override the body language. For example, if your Character has "Arms on hips" as their body language, and you add a gesture where the Character raises their arms, the arms will rise when the timeline reaches that gesture. This makes your Character more dynamic!
