Using comments

Updated over a week ago

Comments let you leave feedback directly inside a nodemap, so your team can review specific nodes, keep context in one place, and move faster together.

Let me show you how you can do this yourself.

Opening the comments panel

  1. Open the Story you want to review, then click Comments (speech bubble icon) in the bottom toolbar.

  2. Use the panel to browse existing comments or search for something specific.

Adding a comment to a node

  1. With Comments open, click the node you want to comment on.

  2. Type your comment in the text box that appears, then click Send (arrow).

3. Once it’s posted, the node will show an indicator so others can spot that there’s a comment attached.

🦸🏽‍♀️ Pro tip: Keep comments node-specific (one point per comment) so it’s easier to reply and resolve later.

Viewing comments on a node

  1. Click a comments indicator to open the comment pop up.

  2. Read the thread, and use the Reply field to respond.

Managing a comment thread

Inside the comment popover, you’ll see More options (three dots). Here you are able to:

  1. Mark the comments as unread

  2. Copy link to the comment

  3. Delete thread
