Organising files in the Media Library
The Media Library keeps all your images, videos, and audio files in one place, making it easy to find, organise, and reuse media across your Stories.
Let me show you how to keep your media organised.
Opening the Media Library
In Studio, click Media Library in the left-hand menu.
You'll see your folders at the top and your media files underneath.
Uploading files
You can upload new media directly to your library or organise it into folders.
Open the folder where you want to store your files, or stay in All files.
Click Upload file in the top-right corner and choose the file you want to upload.
Once the upload finishes, your file will appear in the Media Library.
Finding files using search and filters
As your library grows, you can use search, filters, and sorting to find the files you need.
Searching for a file
Click the Search media field in the top-right corner.
Enter the name of the file you're looking for.
Clear your search to see your files again.
Filtering by file type
Want to see only images, videos, or audio files?
Click the File type dropdown.
Choose the type of media you want to see:
Images – Show image files.
Videos – Show video files.
Audio – Show audio files.
Select File type again to return to the unfiltered view.
Sorting your media
You can also change the order in which your files are displayed.
Click the Date added dropdown.
Choose how you'd like to sort your media:
Date added – Newest files first.
Date added, oldest – Oldest files first.
Name A–Z – Alphabetical order.
Name Z–A – Reverse alphabetical order.

Organising media into folders
Folders help you keep your Media Library tidy, especially when you're working on multiple Stories or projects.
Creating a new folder
Click New folder at the top of the Media Library.
Give your folder a clear, recognisable name.
Open the folder to organise your media inside it.
Moving multiple files
You can select several files when you want to organise them together.
Click Select at the top of the Media Library.
Select the files you want to organise.
Use the available move action to place them in your chosen folder.
Previewing your media
You can open files in the Media Library to preview them before using them in your Stories.
Find the file using the folders, search, or filters.
Click the file to open its preview.
Troubleshooting
I can't find a file
Clear the search field and check your File type filter. Make sure you're looking in the correct folder.
My search shows no results
Try a different file name or clear the search to return to the full view.
My files aren't in the order I expected
Check the Date added dropdown and select your preferred sorting option.
I can't move multiple files
Click Select and make sure you've selected the files you want to move. Then use the available move action.
