To make your Story interactive, use the response node. This node creates a button that learners must click to move forward in the Story, adding engagement and decision points. Here’s how it looks:
Each response node creates one button, and you can add as many as you need to build branching scenarios with various outcomes.
Simply write your button text directly in the node map, and adjust it as needed to suit your Story’s flow and narrative. This is done by clicking “Edit”.
What you can change in Edit
Once you’re in Edit, you’ll see a few key settings:
Theme
Use Theme to control the look and feel of the response (colors and styling), based on the themes available for your workspace.
Voiceover on response
Turn this on if you want the response to be spoken aloud (either with AI voice or your own audio).
Option A: AI voice
Use AI-generated voiceover for quick, consistent narration.
Select AI Voice.
Under Who speaks, choose the character (for example, Player) so the voice matches who’s speaking.
Option B: Real voice (upload audio)
Use your own recorded audio file for a more human, custom feel.
Select Real Voice.
Click Upload audio file and upload your recording.
