Lighting can vary greatly depending on the location of your Character. For example, the warm glow of a fireplace creates a different effect compared to the bright light of a hospital waiting room. To match the lighting perfectly, you can use the Character light settings. Here’s how:
Click Location from the menu on the left.
2. Choose your background image and wait for it to fully upload. Once uploaded toggle on “Character light settings”
3. Now you can set where the light should come from by adjusting the Time of Day. And choose the type of light you want for the scene. Experiment to find the perfect lighting for your Character.
☝🏻 Note: we recommend setting the Time of Day to 12:00 to avoid excessive shadows on the Characters’ faces.
When you’re happy with the lighting, click Save to apply your adjustments for this location.
